A slow-drying solvent based on citrus d-limone solvents derived solely from Florida oranges (not citric acid, as often suggested). Initially a defluxer, now more widely used to remove adhesives. Superior toxicity ratings, although prolonged skin contact can cause irritation. Competes with pine terpenes, but avoids the problems those products have with spontaneous combustion. Strong citrus aroma; good ventilation mandatory. MIL-STD-2000 approved. Combustible. Neutral pH. Low cost-per-use.
